The night my wife almost died (Here’s my true life story) ⬇️ 😢 Two years ago, right after our son’s naming ceremony, we were all in the living room gisting — my wife, my mom, and my mother-in-law. Suddenly, my wife started feeling cold. Her mom rubbed her with hot water… then she went stiff and unresponsive. My mom started stooling from fear. We were all screaming. I had no car that night. A kind neighbor rushed us to the hospital at top speed. Nurses brought a stretcher, and the doctor on duty fought hard to resuscitate her. I was speechless, confused, and scared to death. But God, in His infinite mercy, gave her another chance at life. 🙏 The doctor later blamed me for bringing her home less than a week after her CS. I accepted it. She was admitted for more treatment and observation. That experience changed me forever. Now I cherish every moment we share before it becomes a memory. Life is indeed for rent.

You need to understand that I have taken a month off to unplug. World Cup presents the best opportunity for that. Allow me relax and fool in peace. 12 months of constant work, I take 1 month off to blow off steam and release the tension within with new sights and sounds. When I’m back to Nigeria next week, the organization of our structure, agitation and alignment resumes. Nigeria belongs to all of us. We must all play our part.

Message to Nigerian Ladies that host and Co-host Spaces on X. Nigerian Ladies, Wetin dey sup? Growing up as a Child in Nigeria, My Dad told me to always be of my best behavior in public. To be brutally honest, I do not like the way some of you that host and Co-host Spaces behave. Do not let Pride rub you of your blessings. Please stay with me and let me explain. Most of the time, some of you are so ruxde that I am even scared to enter spaces where A Woman is the one hosting or Co-hosting. It's that bad. Please, don't let the world give Nigerian Women a bad name. Am a Nigerian Woman and the behavior does not sit well with me. There is a word called Decorum and should be applied when you host or Co-host Spaces. I tell people that if there is anyone that should be proud, it should be me considering my background, etc but I choose to remain humble because I realized that humility takes you where many degrees can't take you. While I worked for ExxonMobil, many people used to ask me if I am truly an Employee. Why did they ask me that question? According to them, Many Employees looked down on people & I didn't. You could tell who was an Employee by their ID Card. Was in a Space yesterday and this Nigerian lady was extremely rude to Vintage for no reason whatsoever. Nothing justifies that crass behavior. Vintage in his usual manner was being nice. You need to see the way this lady embarrassed Vintage. I Mfon Okon Daniel Abia Inwangkwu was ashamed on her behalf. This is not the 1st time that she is acting out of Character. It is a reason for my post. For crying out loud, You are a Co-host so why such gutter behavior? Unfortunately, the host is her friend I guess so he finds it hard to caution her appropriately. Oga host, Call that lady to order, her behavior is getting out of hand. ExxonMobil employed me as a Senior Analyst in Public & Government Affairs so I am great at Analyzing situations. I don analyze the situation finish. Am a strong supporter of Women and always want to see Nigerian women excel. By the way, I handled ExxonMobil Foundation Programs where I worked with and helped many Nigerian women. You need to see the way the lady exploded just because Vintage was trying to be nice. Omo shame wear me baba Tinubu Cap. Every time I see a space that a Nigerian woman is hosting, my heart go 1st cut. It should never be so! Most of the time, na the same yeye behavior I dey see. What exactly is going on? I take God beg una, take it a notch or two down. We can do better. We have so behaved badly that some Nigerian Men on X do not want to listen to a Nigerian Woman speak and they write it here on X in posts or comments. Haba! It's time for us to look inwards and tell ourselves the truth. I agree that no one is perfect but the behavior I see displayed by many Nigerian Women that host and Co-host spaces here on X is despicable. Aunty, Change, Sister, Change.
