This is the best part of the trailer. Really hoping the full movie turns out as great as the premise is, but the trailer otherwise did nothing for me

It's a miracle we're even getting this film. Like many of you, I've been following the drama, the original cancelation for "tax purposes", the threat of it being DESTROYED. It all kind of made me sick to my stomach. This looks beautiful. Will be seeing it in the theater!

A lot of ppl will disagree with me, and that's fine. But imo Nintendo is revamping a lot of the Mario universe. The new canon is basically this imo: Mario movie Bananza Odyssey Mario Galaxy movie New Mario 3D (Not in order) A Donkey Kong film needs to happen to fill the void.

The success or failure of Coyote vs ACME is something that film studios are going to keep a very close eye on. If it succeeds, studios will be hesitant to shelve movies going forward and could try to find audiences for all of them. But if it fails, studios will almost never listen to those vocal campaigns ever again. There is a lot riding on this film and everyone who campaigned for this movie to be released better show up and show out.

@TheKennyMiles They were one of the first (Netflix was the first) streaming companies to become profitable. Huge accomplishment.

Box office doesn't matter nearly as much as HBO Max recovering from a $2.1B loss in 2022 to a $1.4B profit in 2025. That is significant.
