Hair up or hair down? People ask why I have #dreadlocks. Because Black children & adults are still discriminated for their natural hair in employment & schools. Hopefully they can use me as an example to say “if Antoine can report the news with his hair in locks, why can’t i?”

Where is the accountability? Schools can impose any hair rules on pupils, even racist ones! @educationgovuk ... make 'appearance' policies statutory so you can protect pupils. Schools... look at @TheHaloCode and sign up. Schools... celebrate #BigHairAssembly with @worldafroday

@MissNGrace This is absolutely unacceptable, and I hope your sister isn’t feeling too upset😔 Black children across the UK are still being punished for their natural hair. We should encourage every school to accept @TheHaloCode and work towards de-stigmatisation of black hairstyles!!
