The artistry of trailers and cinema as a whole peaked with Godzilla vs Kong, studios don't even bother trying anymore because they know it's not possible to top, objectively the Lord of the Rings of our time but even better

There was a period in the mid-late 2010s where it felt like most trailers were really good. Like really well edited, well designed little pieces of art on their own merits that were competing to be good. And now 90% of them are really bad and hard to watch lol
