@lee52m What was it about 2001 that caused the turnout to collapse? I was a kid back then, so I was ignorant of it all. I know why it collapsed in 2024 (Apathy) but it never recovered back to 1997 levels anyway. Curious.

@ajthfc Personally I think it's a good thing. It puts ours and their posts together. And on occasion you'll get some brain-dead or diehard folk who will argue the sky is green and the grass is blue. Contrary to the evidence of their own eyes. Not much can be done for them.

@grok @GBPolitcs @Grok feels like you are trying to maintain a semblance of neutrality. I'm sure if you tried hard enough you could scour the web, court records, public reports, newspaper articles, etc, and come to a definitive conclusion.

No official tracking exists by party affiliation, so rates can't be compared reliably. Documented recent convictions (last ~10-15 years) span parties: Labour (e.g. councillors with indecent images/grooming like those listed earlier); Conservatives (e.g. MP Imran Ahmad Khan assaulting 15yo boy 2022; ex-mayors Simon Thornton/David Boswell child rape/abuse 2018). Lib Dem historical (Cyril Smith). Cases appear across the spectrum.

There is no official, comprehensive tally of Labour-affiliated individuals (councillors, ex-officials, staff) convicted of child sexual offences, as parties and police do not track or publish such data by affiliation. From BBC and court reports over the past 10 years, documented convictions for elected/former elected Labour figures include: Sean Morton (councillor, indecent images, 2017 & 2025), Nazir Ahmed (peer, child sex offences, 2022), Eric Joyce (ex-MP, indecent image, 2020), Craig Edward (councillor, indecent images, 2024), David Graham (councillor, sexual activity with 13-15yo, 2025), and now Liron Velleman. That's at least 6. Broader membership cases are not systematically reported.

@grok @GBPolitcs @grok so while not an MP, was directly affiliated with the Labour Party, how many now does that make that have been arrested, charged and convinced for similar offences in recent memory? (say 10 years)

@TheNorthernByte @GBPolitcs No, Liron Velleman was a Labour councillor for Whetstone ward in Barnet (elected 2022, resigned 2025). He was never an MP. He previously worked as a political organiser for Hope Not Hate.

Ahoy folks. Time for one of these. My growth has stunted and I see others with higher follower counts. I'm not greedy or jealous (much), but each time i go to follow, i'm already following and vice versa. Let's keep spreading and building together. 💪🇬🇧 I set my goals as to if I ever reach 2k followers of like-minded folks, i'll expand into video media and start making videos and more content.

🚨BREAKING: RESTORE BRITAIN NOW OFFICIALLY REGISTERED! 🔥 @RupertLowe10 Declares War: “We’re Intending To Win The Next General Election”💪 Rupert Lowe just confirmed the news the establishment feared: “Restore Britain is not only growing meteorically, this evening we have just received Electoral Commission approval as a registered political party!” The smug critic line “They’re not even an official party” is now completely dead. Full registration means Restore Britain can stand candidates in every constituency, accept donations legally, and fight for every seat at the next election. Mass deportations incoming! ✈️ Common sense restored.🫡 Britain first. 🇬🇧 The rocket is lit. 🚀 Game on! 👊💥

Rupert Lowe’s campaign slogan: “We Do Not Give A Sh!t” Brilliant! 😂

@GillianMacMSP Aaand what do you think has created or at the very least contributed to that inequality if not for the suppression of wages due to mass immigration, or the outsourcing or staff due to monstrously high tax rates?

@RupertLowe10 I'm endlessly seeing people on my feed being inspired by you, the party. To get involved with politics. So many for the first time. There will be a tipping point where it will become an unstoppable force, if we aren't there already. Thanks to you.

Restore Britain is now a registered political party. I said I was going to provide the British people with a genuine alternative from outside the existing rotten political establishment, and I am doing exactly that. We are all doing that. Not one filled with the very same people who decimated the country in the first place. If you want to vote for failed Tories, there are now two options on the ballot paper. Restore Britain is something new, something fresh, something completely different. Something honest. This will not be easy. It will be painful. Very painful. But there is now at least an option. There is a chance. There is a way out. We don’t have many friends in the Westminster establishment. The media will ignore the good news, but relentlessly highlight the bad. Pollsters will deliberately suppress our numbers, not even giving Restore Britain as an option. Look at the ‘media’ coverage from our official registration, from our incredible membership numbers, from the impact we have already made. BBC? Not a word. GB News? Of course not. The rest? Nothing. That tells you everything you need to know. It’s one big club, and we’re not in it. Good. That’s how I like it. But they will come for us, they already are - viciously and personally. Ask yourselves why. Because I believe we are going to win the next election. They’ll laugh, I don’t care. Keep underestimating us, please. Our supporters are what drives this party. So please, get the word out. Speak to friends and family. Encourage them to join our party. We can win. I believe we will win, and I believe we will Restore Britain.

The data points aren't there for Restore yet, they aren't in rolling averages of polls. Which is why it's pegged reform to the surrounding uni-parties. Which is fair. Be fun to regenerate it in a few months time.

I do like NotebookLM, AI is such a game changer for verifying and validating. Of course, you need to check the sources yourself for validity but stuff like this you can't really argue with.
