A little Army humor:
When I was a First Sergeant, our Company XO went on a four day pass to go to his sister’s wedding.
While he was gone my commander and I spent about three hours on a Friday night completely rearranging his office in the most inconvenient way.
-Desk facing away from the door.
-Chair where the door would hit it when you opened it.
-Phone across the room on top of a wall locker.
-Wall locker facing the wall with barely enough room to open the doors.
-We even put his cork board/dry erase board with the training schedule and his maintenance tracker on the ceiling above his desk.
We couldn’t stop laughing, it was a great time.
Anyway, he came back and to his credit (and clearly to spite us) he kept it exactly that way for the remaining four months that he was the XO.
The next XO after being in that office for a few days asked me if it would be an issue if he rearranged the office.
I just replied “Oh yea, go for it sir. LT [Name] was kind of a weirdo.”

JUST IN: Governor Abigail Spanberger officially signs a bill handing over Virginia’s 13 electoral votes to whoever wins the most votes across the whole country… even if Virginians vote the other way. Insane. They rushed it through with mostly Democrat votes. The plan has 222 votes. It needs 270 to actually start working. Once it does, your vote in Virginia doesn’t matter anymore. The Founders made the Electoral College so a few big cities don’t boss the whole country. This is a sneaky Democrat power grab to cheat that. “Every vote counts the same”? Lies. Virginians are pissed off, and they should be. They got played.
