Amazing platform. It's changed my life and the game for me in communication and speaking. Opened up a whole new world of opportunities and connections. All because you followed your "design type" and saw from a distance the dream that was in your heart to come that is PodMatch! Solid Alex.

I'll never forget March 10th, 2020 (6 years ago to the day)... I had just finished filling up an entire wall of whiteboards in my home office. Every inch of these giant whiteboards was covered with different-colored marker scribbles, lines, notes, and images I had drawn. I stepped back to take it all in... After about 2 minutes, I said the following words out loud: "Like a dating app, but instead of connecting people for dates, it's a service that uses the same(ish) technology to connect podcast hosts and podcast guests for interviews." A few minutes later, I called a friend, Jesse Hunter, who was a developer. I pitched the idea to create this service for the podcasting industry. On the spot, he said, "I'm in." I then pitched the idea to my wife, Alecia, who also said that she's in, but with one stipulation... She said, "If we can call it PodMatch, I’ll help!" So, on March 10th, 2020, we started working on creating PodMatch! The 3 of us pulled together $5,000.00 from our savings, moved it to a business bank account, and hit the ground running! We launched our early beta of PodMatch on June 15th, 2020. Since then, we've had over 86,500 podcast hosts and podcast guests join PodMatch!!! As I reflect on this while writing this today, joy is the emotion I feel. It has seriously been a joy to build this service and to have such an incredible community around it. Thank you, everyone, for being part of PodMatch! It means so much! :)
