I learned this the hard way a long time ago when the chairlady was just a young girl testing the waters of marriage. There was a friend who loved partying long into the night with his wife. In fact, they still do. When our wives became friends, mine started questioning my government. Words like “dictator” and “unconstitutional” were thrown around carelessly. When I heard her say “wantam,” I knew it was time to restrategize. Fortunately, I was renting then, so I just moved away under the guise of better housing. Nikajua hapa sitawai jaribu. This is some of my advice for the 4 people married here on X. The rest of you just wait upon old age.

@tonykaromo It's overly foolish to attack a people's culture. You have been brainwashed to think imperialism way of life is the definition of hygiene. These people have lived for thousand of years with the culture, they dont need your shitty opinions.

One thing I've always wanted to know about these communities: Hair is plaited with ochre, basically mud to keep the locks intact. They also smear their bodies with it. Meaning, hygiene isn't 'apriority'. So how are their women during menstruation 🤔
