@theninianmike @keatonhorrocks1 I have a wedding photo of my dear old dad looking exactly like this whilst I was completing the obligatory Mauritian tradition of the groom downing a shot with every table of guests.

@anfieldforge Assume most of the criticism is aimed at the dads rather than the kids. We live within 10 miles of 3 PL teams and 3 EFL teams, yet still see dads kitting their kids out in Liverpool, Man City & Man Utd kits. Those poor kids are never gonna see their teams play.

There’s a lot of noise about “support your local” and people taking shots at anyone who follows a big club, but let’s be honest, it’s a strange hill to die on. Grown men berating others over a decision they made as a child. Really?
Kids don’t sit there analysing geography, club history, or drawing a radius around their hometown to decide who they are allowed to support. They don’t care where a club is on the map or whether it is considered local. They just fall in love with what they see.
The truth is, most people did not even choose their team in any meaningful way. They were influenced by family, by mates, by a player they liked, or by what was on TV at the time. That is how it works.
Acting like football allegiance is some kind of moral decision, rather than something shaped in childhood, is just daft. Support who you support. No one needs a lecture about it years later.
And if you are that bothered about who someone else supports, you have probably missed the whole point of football in the first place.

@TobyofLocksley A season-long loan surely a good option for all parties, all things being equal. Obv a slight risk of recall, but dodges the bulk of the wages and you’d be unlucky for a keeper to get recalled.
English

No reason why we shouldn't be able to sign him in the summer, never played a game for Bournemouth who clearly don't want him, shouldn't be too expensive and his wages surely won't be too high #lofc
Leyton Orient FC@leytonorientfc
Will Dennis appreciation post ✅ #LOFC #OneOrient
English

@TobyofLocksley Is this his burner?! He played 70 mins, 60 of which were v 10 men. Their best chance came when he controlled it 8 yards. He hasn’t even played during most of our best run of the season. He’s probably fine, but nobody is picking him out today ffs!!
English

Can everyone agree that I was right and Will Forrester is the best footballer in the world now please? #lofc
English

@OrientOutlook The ugliest win of the 4, but a massive 3 points against a good side. Can’t imagine many of that team will be starting the first game next season.
English

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS…
It’s four in a row for the O’s as goals from Demetri Mitchell & Idris El-Mizouni give #LOFC a 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers.
Thoughts on today?
English

@Pandamonium1881 When you put it like that….maybe I’m being too generous!! If we stay up I can’t see the starting XI next season including many of the current squad. There’s a few bad contracts that will fill the bench, but expect a busy summer.
English

Not getting ahead of ourselves as there is still a job to do here but next season….

@DeadlyMonkfish A lot of teams (us included lately) aren’t bothering to press back lines when they have the ball. Therefore the first 15 of these might as well be in an empty field! Wonderful ball by Wellens though.
English

I'm not sure how many of these passes actually count towards setting up the goal.
Leyton Orient FC@leytonorientfc
Let's just appreciate our well-worked second goal on Tuesday night 😮💨 It's Orient by the way @AFCWimbledon 😉 #LOFC #OneOrient

@Stevenorient @EFL @RainbOs_1881 @OrientOutlook @leytonorientear @LOFCWOMEN_COM @OrientFanTV @ThePunjabiOs I'm a glass half full man but that's a serious stretch!!
English

@daniel_orient There is no eventuality where Orient mistakenly sells Ballard. They obviously know how good he is, but they could have their hands forced by things outside their control (release clause, Ballard wanting a move etc). If they sell him it won’t be by choice.
English

@FreddieNathan Cos they only get a sell-on if he doesn’t see out his 4 years, otherwise it’s x% of zero. At the time I presume nobody thought he’d be as good as he has been, so I’d guess a sensible release clause was added to attract Dom/Southampton. Hope I’m wrong tho!
English

@TheTippingTim I understand Southampton wanting a sell on clause but why would they care about a release clause?
English

I may be in a minority here but I don’t see us losing Ballard in the summer. I reckon we have another year left of him. He’s on a 4 year deal, we can charge clubs whatever the hell we like #lofc
English

@FreddieNathan No obviously I’m guessing, but given the situation when he signed I’d say it’s highly likely. We were desperate for a striker, and Southampton and Ballard would have been reluctant to agree 4 years without a sensible release clause.
English

@nigeltravis Has there ever been so much emotion conveyed in 16 characters? Nigel allows the reader to briefly wallow in the glory of the past 180 minutes, then snaps them back to the tumultuous present and poses the ultimate question to leave them frantic for answers.

@90sfootball You know a highlights reel is going to be moderate when it starts with the lad taking a corner
