Lately I’ve been scrolling through different Web3 campaigns and something kept standing out to me.
Almost every project shows massive engagement numbers. Thousands of likes, reposts, and comments everywhere.
But when you slow down and really look at it, a lot of it doesn’t feel genuine.
Many people are just completing tasks to earn points or rewards, then they move on to the next campaign. There’s not always a real connection with the project itself.
So even though the numbers look big, it doesn’t always mean the community is actually growing in a meaningful way.
That’s why @XOOBNetwork caught my attention recently.
From what I understand, XOOB isn’t just building another quest platform. They’re trying to rethink how growth works in Web3.
Using Chromia, XOOB is building infrastructure where things like referrals, quests, and community participation can be recorded on-chain.
So instead of activity just being numbers on a dashboard, it becomes something that can actually be verified.
For projects, this could help them see what truly helped them grow. And for creators or community members, it might encourage more meaningful contributions instead of just chasing quick rewards.
It’s still early, so we’ll see how XOOB develops.
But personally, I find the direction interesting.
Maybe the future of Web3 growth isn’t about louder marketing.
Maybe it’s about building systems where participation actually means something.
