Wow, what an amazing session yesterday! 🎮 TheXPlace game producer community showed up in full force.  148 professionals from 27 countries registered for the kick-off of the Game Production Roundtable! Our leaders Quentin Moreau-Defarges, Alissa Brodsky @PuppetMissy, Michael Fitch, Kenn White, Paul Keslin @TheVestalViking , and Herrick C. Erickson-Brigl, lead fast and to-the-point discussions, including: • Practical tips to level up your resume, like this brilliant tip to make the top 3 lines at the top of your resume, immediately point out that you are the answer to that hiring manager’s problem. • To cover letter or not to cover letter - that is the question! While it is an opportunity to distinguish yourself and add some personality, you want to consider the specific situation of the hiring manager.  If they are in an Indie studio - a short paragraph will do.  If they are in an AAA studio, they probably have help, so go ahead and write one, but be sure to make it count! It should project your personality and the value you’d bring to the team. Also of note for all of us die-hard gamers – reasons why you’re dying to work for that studio – not really helpful…! • An honest (and a-hem, passionate!),  conversation about certifications like PMP (and yes, we'll definitely continue this hot topic! 😉) For those of you that attended - what were your favorite nuggets?
