Conceição and Gonzáles are both left-footed, and will probably rotate on the right wing for Juventus. It's a smart bit of team building to go for one winger who's prime age and proven in Serie A, and another who's higher risk/higher potential reward.

As per @Jayling77's calculations Luke Shaw has been available 44.6% games since joining. I had him at 50% until Jan 2024 & he's missed more since, so I'd say mine ends around the same mark too. Bottom line - we can't expect even half-season availability from Shaw going forward.

I understand that our window has been largely underwhelming - especially with regards to outgoings - but people need to understand that this is symptomatic of nineteen years of Glazer-led incompetence and toxicity. No matter who you bring in to reshape the club's long-term direction, it is quite literally impossible to do it all in six months. It seems like not many yet understand that we are at the very start of a project. We are talking years before we are in a financial or sporting position that allows us to be competitive with Europe's elite again.

I understand Utd fans want signings, we all do and I have been critical of INEOS where I felt necessary but there are a few realities to be faced. Utd are a money losing business, the Glazers bled the club of its cash, made Utd responsible for massive debt/interest payments. Their financial management and deals they structured were borderline criminal and with the new rules, owners can’t just come in and spend their own money. It’s not easy selling players at Utd because of previous mismanagement, INEOS inherited a total mess. I’m still quite confident they will bring 2 maybe 3 more in.

Feel it's much better if United went big on a CM or two and cheapened out on a CB in the 30-40M range. Lindelof as 4th choice. Also find a run-in-behind CF to maximize Antony/Sancho. Don't believe the crap that Rashford needs a false 9 to thrive. Let Ten Hag work with that.
