A number of fearless youngsters, looking to impress and create healthy competition, it’s a good thing! It’s not unfair, they are professional footballers

Should never judge a book by it's cover and I know we should give payers the benefit of doubt before seeing them but the fact we are relying on two teenagers to save our season is concerning. #Gills

@F11DNS Fully aware of the reference, but you’re bringing up PS because a racist has abused a player today? What has he got to do with todays incident or any other event to do with abuse in the stands? Club owners can’t control a complete moron entering the ground and choosing to do that

@ThorleyStuart You clearly don’t get the reference - he was the one who referred to the fans as cancer to begin with. And yes, I do think part of the blame lies with Paul Scally. This is a problem that has hung around for too long and it’s been on his watch as well as the Galinsons.

The same sort of thing keeps happening over and over again at Gillingham. Racists and homophobes at literally every game. So much more has to be done by the club to eradicate this. Utterly unacceptable.

To me it’s hardly a coincidence that with the Galinsons not being around so much and a certain Paul Scally having more of an influence behind the scenes that things are going to pot again. The man is a cancer and needs to be gotten rid of.
