@PicoSpicy Fun fact: Scooby and the Gang were designed by Iwao Takamoto, American-born son of Japanese immigrants. Sadly, since it was animated for TV, the show couldn't always capture his dynamic style in motion. But hey, there IS a connection to anime.

I've been going through old Anime Insider issues for fun. There's this one article where they Japanified Scooby-Doo and they just turned Shaggy into Yu Narukami.
