Tuesday's horse racing thread 🧵 Newcastle 2.35 Singapore Trip 4/1 each way Newcastle 3.05 Silver Hill 1/1 NAP Wolverhampton 7.00 Militzie 5/2 NEXT BEST This is open but at the prices SINGAPORE TRIP looks worth chancing. He was a good third at Market Rasen last month and if building on that could be a big player in here as plenty of these have something to prove. He looks off a good mark and the drying ground is in his favour as well. Huit Reflets has been consistent and is probably the danger. Great chance for SILVER HILL to get back to winning ways. I always think a horse that wins on debut in a bumper is pretty decent and after shaping like he needed the experience first time out over hurdles he improved to win at Catterick. He was beaten last time but denied just a neck and with more to come especially over this trip he looks the one to side with. Minella Supreme needs to bounce back but is the main threat. I'm confident MILITZIE is the one to beat here. She missed the break on debut at Chelmsford and was still only beaten around 3 lengths at the line. She clocked a decent speed figure (better than Espanita) and this extra furlong will prove ideal. If she comes on for the run and gets away on terms she is definitely the value play at 5/2. I can see her getting backed in again come post time.
