Most people don't realise this but insurance doesn't work during war. There's a clause for war and god made disasters. You get travel insurance to cover health issues and other cancelations. I repeat, really reconsider all travel for the next few months. Don't get stranded

Sihanoukville Casino Known for Kidnapping, Murder, and Throwing People From Buildings Raided Again
Sihanoukville military police raided the Gandaw Casino on the evening of April 5 after reports that Chinese nationals were being held and tortured on the 16th floor. When police entered, they also found an online scam operation and detained a large number of suspects.
The Gandaw Casino, also known by its Chinese name Harbor Island International Entertainment (港岛国际娱乐), has a reputation. Kidnapping, murder, people thrown from buildings. In January, Cambodia China Times reported a foreign woman fell to her death from the same building, with police searching for a Chinese man who had been in her room. According to sources, there are incidents every month. The raid was led by provincial military police commander Heng Bunthy with prosecutors on site. Investigation is ongoing.

Kapal pertama yang membawa 1 juta tong minyak mentah Basrah dari Iraq milik Petronas melepasi Selat Hormuz dan dalam perjalanan ke Pengerang, Johor dan dijangka tiba (ETA) 17 April.
Ini adalah minyak mentah Iraq yang pertama melepasi Selat Hormuz sejak perang bermula 28 Februari lepas.
Untuk konteks, Malaysia mengimport 167.8 juta tong minyak mentah tahun lepas (2025) atau lebih kurang 460 ribu tong sehari. Jadi bekalan 1 juta tong ini adalah bekalan 2-3 hari sahaja untuk Malaysia.
Tapi syukur, ada pergerakan minyak mentah dari sana. Semoga lebih lancar 🤲🏻

A Portuguese tanker carrying 1 million barrels of Iraqi Basra Heavy crude has now crossed the Strait of Hormuz following the sea lane via Larak Island inside Iranian territorial waters. The vessel, the Ocean Thunder, is the first Iraqi oil shipment to transit the Strait of Hormuz since the current war began on February 28. This crossing follows an official declaration by Iran on April 4, granting “brotherly Iraq” a special exemption from the shipping restrictions currently paralyzing the waterway. Iraq is the first major oil producer to receive a formal exemption, potentially allowing up to 3 million barrels per day of Iraqi crude to re-enter global markets.
