So after talking with some fine people who are very heavily involved with nil and Kentucky. there words not mine they would be highly shocked if pope made it a year four I know for certain one coach has already been contacted though back channels and it's not Billy.

@shaybhavsar If Pope loses Stokes as well (which is very likely), then that should be the final nail in the coffin. Also if it is true that UK only contacted 4 of the Top 22 players in the portal, then that should be the end. Get him out and get Donovan

Seems like the entire world knows Stokes is going to Kansas except the people who coach basketball in Lexington who insist on saving a spot/NIL for a kid who isn’t coming.

Kentucky essentially passed on Rancik because they were sure they were getting Freeman. They got neither Mismanagement by a staff that insisted they didn’t need a GM. Fairly impossible to defend

I thought Pope couldn’t recruit to BYU because how strict BYU’s campus rules are… Then it turned into: “JMI is the problem” - reports of plenty of funding “We need a GM” - gets someone a GM that is getting quality players to visit or hear kentucky out Pope can’t close
