People mostly follow you because they see you, they notice you. That gives you more reach, more visibility.
Whichever way, they're still intertwined.

Can one gain so much visibility without having a lot of followers?
I really haven't been interested in growing massive followership till I thought that maybe I can't get the kind of visibility I want without having a large audience.
I think both are kind of intertwined.

Unpopular opinion - the people making real money on LinkedIn are not obsessed with followers. I have a tech friend earning $4k+ monthly with just 150 followers. Meanwhile he got the job on LinkedIn 🥹 He said, “Most of you are chasing followers because you want to sell courses.” I won’t lie… I was quiet for a while 😭 I am not among pleaseeeee 🥹🥹
