to our amazing 65 volunteers (plus Maisie, the 3rd birthday girl)) who made it all flow so smoothly. Congratulations to all today’s milestones including Martyn’s 25th, Clare’s 50th, Anne Marie’s 100th and good luck to everyone at tomorrow’s Marathon, including Archie, ….⬇️

The mist cleared and the sun appeared to welcome a whopping 923 people to our pre marathon and parkwalk celebration, welcoming 201 First Timers and an excellent 130 new PBs achieved. We needed an A Team of volunteers to look after you all so huge thanks to ….⬇️

Need a walk this weekend? Need a run?? This is parkrun so you can run, you can walk or anything in between as it’s not a race and it’s simply for everyone! However you want to do it, we’ll see you tomorrow for a 9am start (8.50am for First Timers’ Welcome)

It was glorious sunshine for a celebratory parkrun, with 841 people enjoying the weather, encouraging 169 First Timers and 111 new Personal Bests, all made possible by, and with thanks to, our amazing 48 volunteers (plus Sienna, Maisie and Bertie)……⬇️

Congratulations to all today’s milestones and, ‘Strange parkrun Coincidence’, two of our lovely set up volunteers had never met before but suddenly realised they’d both been at same Danish parkrun, at the same time last year. It’s a small world in the vast parkrun community! ❤️

The sun disappeared but the smiles didn’t, so undeterred by the wind and the rain, 774 people took to the Common, welcoming 128 First Timers, gaining 96 new Personal Bests and all made possible by our 45 amazing volunteers (plus Bertie and Maisie)…..⬇️
