Come riporta il New York Times, citando esperti di armi e un'analisi visiva, gli Stati Uniti avrebbero usato un missile balistico di nuova concezione il primo giorno della guerra contro l'Iran, lo scorso 28 febbraio, colpendo una scuola elementare e una palestra nella città di Lamerd, nel sud del Paese, causando la morte di almeno 21 persone.
