Tournament organizations that cancel championship bracket play because of a little rain are making THOUSANDS of dollars by doing it. Teams end up paying about $3000 per game after all travel/hotel expenses are paid. Some of these tournament organizations don't give a shit. Stay in a hotel/air bnb for 5 days to play 3 games is brutal for the players, parents, coaches.
