At the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, Transworld volunteers across Dubai, Riyadh, and Dammam came together to support communities through our Ramadan Kindness Drive. 290+ volunteers, including employees and their families, contributed their time to help distribute 9,980 meals and share warmth throughout the month.
In Dubai, volunteers packed 2,500 hot meal boxes in partnership with @caterclassic, which were distributed in labour camps. Some volunteers also joined to distribute 1,000 Iftar kits at a traffic signal in collaboration with the @emiratesrc. Meanwhile, in Riyadh and Dammam, our volunteers helped pack and distribute 300 meals for workers in labour camps. Extending the spirit of giving throughout the month, our volunteer-led Community Fridge initiative, in collaboration with the #UAEFoodBank, provided daily food packs to workers, truck drivers, delivery riders reaching 5,000+ people.
Our volunteers also came together to write handwritten special notes of gratitude on 1,000 meal vouchers that were shared with delivery riders in partnership with @Talabat, spreading a few smiles along the way.
More than just providing meals, these initiatives brought colleagues and families together to share kindness and the true spirit of Ramadan with the community!
