Earlier this morning an @ODUP officer was speeding down 41st street and hit my dog head on. He did not help my dog nor did the other officers that later arrived on the scene. They advised me to take him to the ER and that was it, Tommy is now at the hospital with blood filling

Our Black History Month celebration continues with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority sister and the new VPOTUS, Kamala Harris! As the newly elected VPOTUS, she has made presidential history as the first female, the first African American woman, and the first Indian American.

Our next Black History Month highlight is Zora Neale Hurston of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Popular for her leadership during the Harlem Renaissance, her writing was revolutionary in helping protect the rights of African Americans.

We are continuing our celebration of Black History Month by highlighting influential Black sorority women. Today's remarkable woman is Mae Jemison, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha. She was the first Black woman to travel in space on Space Shuttle Endeavor in 1992.
