I didn’t have a lot of hope for a long March run but I expected better than a blowout loss to a team missing its best player. Just a huge disappointment in the last game of a roller coaster season.

@WildcatsTongue Naaaa, the only correct answer is to move on. Nothing he’s shown makes me believe he is an elite coach but we’re stuck with him, so I hope he proves all of us wrong but I won’t hold my breath.

@KySportsRadio @KSRTHESHOW Just a disappointment? Call it for what it is, disgusting. It ended pretty much the way it started. It’s hard to be excited when the offense being ran looks awful, little to no adjustments, talks about fatigue.. Mark coaches stubborn and soft, and his teams play that way.

Ultimately a disappointing season…so many expectations but just couldn’t match them most of the year A few very good wins and a great March memory with the Oweh shot but in the end a year most UK fans will consider a disappointment

@RowlandRIVALS Mark’s not it. And we’ve got at least 1 more year of this. At this point it’s hard to be excited even if we get Stokes and all the top portal players because the offensivr sets look terrible, the effort is suspect, and most of our players got worse as the season progressed.

@KySportsRadio As much as it sucks, is it not fitting? Has Pope or this team consistently shown you any length of consistency to prove that this couldn’t happen? They are what they are and Pope is what he is.

@KySportsRadio I miss when Kentucky played that style of defense but I’ve lost all confidence that Pope can coach at a championship level. He just makes so many decisions that are detrimental to the flow of the game.

@KySportsRadio I think all UK fans want to support this team but they’ve proven they’re far too inconsistent to dedicate spending that kind of money in the early rounds. Most people are likely waiting and seeing which team shows up. They get to Chicago, I think the Blue Wave shows out.

It is definitely not the massive BBN contingent that we are used to in relatively close NCAA Games. Hopefully a win tonight gives a chance for a larger showing in Chicago
