I wrote this to remind myself why I’m doing this.

Honest update after 3 days of distribution: - 20 cold DMs sent → 0 replies - Reddit posts → good conversations but no signups - Twitter → growing slowly, 30 followers - Product Hunt, HN, Indie Hackers → listed - 6 blog posts → waiting for Google to index The product works. The problem is real. But getting someone to actually try it is a different game. Not giving up. Just adjusting the approach. What worked for your first signup?

I knew distribution would be hard. I didn't know it would feel like shouting into an empty room. Built the product. Wrote the blog posts. Launched on Reddit, PH, HN, IH. The code took weeks. Finding one person who actually tries it is taking longer. Still going. The first user will come.

Sent 10 cold DMs today to SaaS founders. Hardest part wasn't writing the message. It was hitting send. Every time I thought they're too big or they probably don't need this or I'll find a better target. Just sent them anyway. 10/10 done. Now I wait. Either I get replies, or I learn to write better DMs. Shipping > perfecting.

Spent 2 days scrolling Reddit looking for the "perfect" cold outreach target. Found 10+ posts about churn. Commented on most of them. Got great conversations. But zero DMs sent. Lesson: researching feels productive. It's not. Sending the message is. Shipping the outreach today.

I'm building Leavely a cancellation feedback modal for SaaS. Stripe tells you someone cancelled. Not why. Leavely catches the reason at the exact moment they leave. Free plan, 5 min setup. leavely.space

Rewrote my pricing page because of one Reddit comment. "I don't understand what an event is." He was right. So I: → Renamed "events" to "feedbacks" → Added a visible Free plan → Made limits match real usage If strangers don't understand your pricing, it's not them it's you.

First, find what you truly want to do. Then commit to it. It won't be easy. There are no shortcuts. No easy way. But your dream is on the other side of that difficulty. So keep going.

Spent the last weeks building, fixing bugs, and polishing the docs. The launch is finally scheduled Now switching from building to marketing while starting a new project on the side.

Documentation: finished. Everything is clear. Integration is clean. Flow is ready. Now comes the hard part: Getting users.

I JUST SUBMITTED MY APP TO THE APP STORE.

UI update for Pine. Cleaner. More structured. More intentional. Still a few things to fix. But it’s getting there.

New Pine update. You can now: -Switch between Work / Game -Set custom end-session behavior -Preview the overlay Still early. Keeping it simple first. Polish comes step by step.

This is just the start. The bigger parts will probably take longer than I thought. But before scaling complexity: simple first. Always.

New project. First issue already 😅 Couldn’t understand why Google login was failing… Turns out I forgot to add the correct client_id & secret in .env.local Sometimes the bug isn’t complex. You just need to look closer 😂 But it’s fixed now.
