TRUMP: “The world respects us right now more than they have ever respected us before.”
- France: closes airspace to our military
- Italy: closes their airbase to our military
- Spain: closes their bases to our military
- Poland: refuses to provide missile batteries to us.
Trump doesn’t understand what respect means.

The world's first 4DGS digital human is now guiding people through a dinosaur expedition at @Portaventura_ES. Welcome to Expedition ULUM: The Jurassic Awakening!
We captured a professor character played by Paul Lavers at the @AdventuryXR studio and reconstructed him as a Gaussian Splatting-based volumetric video character. Together with @SpatialVoyagers , we brought him into a mixed-reality experience powered by PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise headsets (@PICOXR) — where he onboards guests and invites them into an underwater Jurassic expedition they can walk through.
Watch our making-of video to learn how we built it — and of course, come experience it for yourself.

I finally got Lichtfeld Studio going on my PC (was using Brush for training before this)
Goal: train a gaussian splat using the same 360-drone footage (from scratch)
What the hell is this magic software, bro. Only 2% trained and it already looks like this? Absolute insanity

I went a little crazy with my first 360-drone captured gaussian splat. Of a public park I always bring my daughter to It really is so amazing how much detail a person could capture in 3D with just hobbyist hardware and software

Rec Room shutting down doesn’t mean VR is dead. It was more of a team issue.
Recently, after talking with quite a few VR teams, I’ve seen something pretty counterintuitive: some of them are actually starting to make money.
There are 3 main reasons.
1. Quest’s user base has not really shrunk. The market is still there.
2. Smaller teams are closer to users and can respond much faster.
3. AI tools are making teams much more efficient, which helps them reach break-even a lot faster.
By contrast, Rec Room spent years expanding too aggressively. Its team was also relatively large for a VR company, while its core product did not evolve that much.
Going forward, I’m more bullish on new teams replacing older ones that move slowly and are weighed down by heavy organizations.
This is not because VR stopped working. It is just a new generation replacing the old one.

Rec Room is shutting down for good on June 1st “We never quite figured out how to make Rec Room a sustainably profitable business” “With the recent shift in the VR market, along with broader headwinds in gaming — we've made the difficult decision to shut things down.”

After the Kawhi shot:
- Nembhard throws inbound lob into the hoop for a turnover
- Mathurin misses both FTs
- Siakam rebound and timeout
- Pacers inbound again, Huff fouled for 2 FTs
- Huff misses both FTs with 0.1 seconds
Clippers win.

Jaden Ivey calls out the NBA for celebrating Pride Month
“The world proclaims LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month—and the NBA does too. They show it to the world. They say, ‘Come join us for Pride Month, to celebrate unrighteousness.’”
