@buridansridge This is beautifully put. It also sums up the most tumultuous intuition I arrived at when I was very young. I can't quite articulate it yet, and I may ultimately find it to be entirely ineffable, but their is a profound truth about the very nature of will here.

Stability through expansion, rather than compression, dissolves pressure, for it too subdues the irrelevant noise.

@Thomasdelvasto_ In youth desire comes unbidden, in maturity it is something that must be cultivated. The more you sacrifice for the sake of something and the more of your time and energy you spend on it, if you're consistent, the more you will desire it. Be careful though.

definitely vibing with the idea that I don't have strong enough desires growing up I desperately wanted a girlfriend, and wanted friends. I got those and from then on it's been like.... what do I even care that much about? not sure

@CovfefeAnon While I agree with this in principle, it is important to note that small/medium size farmers are being squeezed by distributors, processors, and gov. regulators. Many of them are barely staying afloat. We have systemic issues caused by our corrupt gov. that need to be addressed
