@FlameJMA7889 Winter and Turtle are two of my major gripes with Arc 2. Poor Winter got done dirty, and frozen out by both his friend group, the only support system he ever had, and banished from his own kingdom. With the exile, he wouldn't even get to attend his father's funeral. 🥀

@VelociRapi Starflight deserved so much better. Tui even took that extra step of writing how they -almost- got an Animus spell together to fix his eyes, but somehow took so long that it failed just before they could finish it. They were -so- close to fixing him up. But Tui said no.

@AzureBookwyrm This is unfortunately correct. Now Arc 3 characters however, do end up mostly happy. Which is why Arc 3 only has one male PoV to make sure it ends well. ✨

@RandyWyvern @AzureBookwyrm @ArkciaTheDragon To be -entirely- fair. Deathbringer -did- end up in a very happy relationship. Fathom is forced into exile, but (presumably) at least got a happy relationship and life with Indigo. Six-claws and Darkstalker are on-point, but I would argue Darkstalker brought this on himself.

Moon: Saviour of Pyrrhia Peril: Got paroned by Skywing Royalty Winter: got estranged to and banished by his kingdom and family and friends. Qibli: Got the girl Turtle: Got a slight emotional closure. So it's better!

@ArkciaTheDragon It's also important to note that Sunny's mother -also- became a queen, so all three of the female Dragonets of Destiny got to become princesses ✨ So ever so slight inequality in fates, coming out of their Arc. Just a little. ✨

I read Legends: Darkstalker after book 8 specifically, and the context it provides is perfectly added at this point of the arc. I think certain scenes in the latter half of the arc are better appreciated this way

Wings of Fire community I have a question. I’m finishing The Brightest Night likely tonight. Should I read the winglets next? Which ones and when? I want to read all of WoF.

@IzuOchaSpark Clay is now officially an injured war veteran. At the tender age of 5. Taking the concept of child soldiers to new heights! And Sunny actually got to have a nice family relationship with her mother, which was really nice to see. I am glad you liked the book!

Finished The Brightest Night. Definitely the second best book of the first series! I love Sunny as a protagonist!! I enjoyed reading the first arc and can’t wait to read more!

@IzuOchaSpark It really makes you feel bad for Starflight. Poor creature was burdened with so many expectations and lived his entire life feeling like he had just failed to develop these skills.
