The subtle insults of wanting to box Yoruba people into a particular skin colour. The subtle insults of deliberately stereotyping Yoruba people for an agenda. The subtle insult she passed that the only reason why Ondo people are lightskinned is because of mixing with SS people (most SS people are darkskinned). She came here to throw jibes at Yoruba people. Even that Henry came out after the first leg to defend Rashford, saying he wasn’t the reason Barcelona missed big chances, a player we all know is useless. A player u don’t wish to welcome back to Man utd. Even if Yamal creates, there’s like 65% chance he will miss it. That’s the reality. Not a single sacrifice this President has made. When the economy is hardest, he makes zero sacrifice and lives large. Came into power and splurged on a new Jet, Yatch, mansion for VP, fleet of armored SUV, and billions for travel. Has a big cabinet with some of the most incompetent ministers we have seen. We now have an apartheid power supply system that has gotten worst. He goes off grid and splurges on solar. Fuel prices are high he mouths the same worthless CNG plan and tells Nigerians to be grateful. People are being killed in hundreds and lazily tweets 2 days later and when he manages go get himself to visit the victims, he addresses them at the airport. Every other day, something is being named after him. No decorum or class. Just embracing and encouraging shocking levels of subserviency from the shameless political class. Nigerians pay more for everything. A generation of young people are having their productive years wasted with no form of care or remorse. I have benefited absolutely nothing from Tinubu’s government. He promises better future that requires sacrifices. Sacrifices he has shown no interest in making. A leader should be an example. Make some sacrifices. Show you care. I don’t respect it!

I schooled in Onitsha High School, Onitsha. One morning, the principal Mrs Julie Ofoefuna informed us that Mr Peter Obi was coming to our school because the Senior Prefect called him and reported that the school building was at the verge of collapse which was true. We thought it was a joke because my school was one of the local schools then, we said” the governor has not finished visiting CKC, DMGS, St Charles, QRC”etc these are best schools then. By 12:00pm that day, he landed with Dr Kay Onyechi the state commissioner of basic education, he inspected the school. He said he will return after two weeks. Two weeks passed we didn’t see him, we took his words as normal Nigeria politicians 😭😭😂.On the third week which was school closing period, he landed. He came like a thief, no motorcades or sirens blowing ” he apologized for coming after two weeks, he said when he learnt that the school was in exam period, he decided to wait but to come after exam. In the end, he gave more than enough for the school renovation. He asked us what we wanted for lunch, nobody could mention any reasonable food. He gave each student ₦100 for snacks.

As a governor of Anambra, every senior prefect in the state had a direct contact with Governor Peter Obi. Why? He wanted them to report what was wrong in their schools directly to him, if you call him, he would personally come and check it out. The man’s humility and simplicity is not performative. It’s really somehow that over a decade later he comes out to contest elections in the country and you’re seeing videos of him carrying his bags like he has always done and you’re calling it “performative and theatrics”. He’s not even doing it for you to applaud him. Baba is just being him.

There is no single Southwest state that’s under any security threat and if that doesn’t tell you about the quality of education, leadership and tolerance in these states, I don’t know what you want to hear again. These are also states that are economically prosperous and it has nothing to do with the fact that the President is from that region. It has relatively been like this for a long time. Other regions need to learn something from this.

There has not been any large scale attack in the SW since the Owo incident. There are cases of kidnappings (like some parts of🇳🇬).

If someone in APC is better, I will vote for that person, on another position if the person in PDP is the best I will vote for that person and if it’s someone in ADC that’s better I will vote for the person and i won’t explain to anyone why I voted for anyone. So let 2027 be about you, if APC had been bad, vote them out, if they have been good to you vote them in. If the messiah that will save your state is from ADC or PDP or even LP or NNPP please vote for them. Vote for what benefits you and your family. Don’t let anyone gaslight you.

Kwara Emir allegedly Orders Arrest of Youth Leader Over Protest Against Insecurity The Emir of Tsaragi in Kwara State, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Kpotwa Goshi II, has allegedly ordered the arrest of Musa Saidu Tsaragi, leader of the Take-It-Back Movement (TIB), after youths staged a peaceful protest against kidn+ppings and b@nditry in the community. Saidu told SaharaReporters that the monarch became unsettled by Sunday’s demonstration in Edu Local Government Area, which he coordinated. “On Sunday I led a protest of kidn+pping and b@nditry in the Taragi community, and it was peaceful and we’ll coordinate,” he said. According to him, he was invited to the Emir’s palace on Monday, where he was hara§§ed and accused of leading protesters to the palace. “So yesterday evening, the Emir of Taragi… called a meeting that the police of Taragi Division should get me arrested,” Saidu alleged. “I want to inform you that Estu Tsaragi said the police should arrest me because I led a protest yesterday.” The protest came hours after g+nmen abducted a local businessman, Suleiman Ndana. Residents said Ndana placed a distress call before the attackers broke into his home, but security operatives never showed up. The kidn+ppers reportedly spared his pregnant wife after he surrendered himself. The youths, chanting solidarity songs, demanded that Fulani settlers leave Tsaragi land and called on the Emir to convey their grievances to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, accusing him of failing to protect communities in Kwara North.

Some weeks ago, when my younger brother travelled to Ondo state for work, he called my parents to ask them if majority of the people in Ondo state are mixed with ibo cos all the people he has been seeing from the streets to the office are very light skinned. We now had to explain that some Yoruba states have predominantly light skinned people Igbo people have successfully gatekeeped light skin in Nigeria. Lmao 🤣
