@YuuyuuSQ @_viridiem The whole "giving a game a chance" thing is a big part of why I'm glad I didn't discover the fandom until I completed the CS arc. It was a big shock to finish CS4 and suddenly learn that people had frequent arguments about that arc.

Okay, so if we assume that Horizon 2 will release in 2027 and they generally release a new game every year, then the start of the next arc would be 2028. If that is the case then either the final arc is 5 games long, or we have two more arcs before the end

@YuuyuuSQ I also feel that him sparring with Mcburn doesn't tell us much about how strong he is, it just tells us that he was a skilled swordsman. Remember, Mcburn never took his sword training seriously. He's likely a poor swordsman and relies more on his overwhelming power.

@TalesOfMuffin I'm not sure what they could even do for a new unique ability. SU is a Devil Trigger/Super Saiyan type ability, and the Grendel is a Toku transformation. I personally think the Grendels already feel out-of-place in this series, so I hope they don't do something too crazy.

The only real thing the final MC for the series needs to have is something unique about them that can translate into fun combat, such as SU, Grendel, Stigma, etc. We are past the point of return for a low stakes MC story again so it can't just be your average joe as an MC for me.

@TalesOfMuffin I would personally love to see some Cold Steel remakes at some point because I feel like that arc in particular would really benefit from having the new engine. I think it might be the arc with the strongest focus on martial arts.

Im mostly on the side that after Azure Falcom really doesn't need to remake anything further. But the reality is why would they stop there. In their minds it'd be beneficial to have all their games playing similar and feeling fresh for new fans. Im not saying its gonna happen-

@ScourgeHH Nah, Horizon's Garten is significantly easier to speed run due to the way it works. It's still not as good as the TRC, but it's definitely better than the nonsense we had in Daybreak 2.

Real talk, I love Trails Through Daybreak 2, but my gosh are the loot pools for the Garten not good. This is like floor 14, deeeeeep into post game, I can straight up buy Evade 3 at this point, yet this is what I get to pick 1 reward from for clearing a whole area. Bruh! lol
