@MATatBucks Glad to hear I had credibility! But it's you who are losing yours. You haven't been able to justify your post other than to say it's nonsense. And now changing the subject to divert attention.

🤣🤣🤣Okay, Now you are quoting the uber Remainer/Rejoiner Lib Dems as a reputable source! Sorry, you have just lost all credibility. Thanks for the discussion.

@MATatBucks Yes, after the tories implemented their ruinous brexit and we left the Dublin agreement. All the graphs show the boat numbers increased hugely after this point. Tories should be apologising to the British people, not deflecting the blame. Always someone else's fault eh

If Keir Starmer wanted to, he could. He could pass legislation to unlock North Sea oil and gas, and we’d support it. It’s time to Get Britain Drilling.

Read my comment. Many of the 'small boat' arrivals used to smuggle themeselves in via other means. Small boats have surged as these other avenues have been restricted.
Right typer@TyperRight

@MATatBucks You really haven't. You just calling something nonsense says it all. Tories brexit caused this mess.

Are you suggesting that there should be a policy of every public body simply gifting any assets to another without any charge or accounting. Result would be economic chaos.
Right typer@TyperRight

@MATatBucks Maybe not for taxpayers. Looks like they are paying for this public asset twice!

I have answered this point. Total nonsense.

@MATatBucks No effective deterrent, look at the graph below. Good job the numbers don't lie. If it wasn an effective deterrent, how do you explain the numbers above? Tories brexit caused this mess!

That chart shows 'net annual migration', and yes, the Conservatives allowed far too great legal freedom. The issue is illegal immigration and the Dublin Convention was no effective deterrent to this . Remember the illegal crossings in vehicles?
Right typer@TyperRight

@MATatBucks It was a deterrent and it worked. Stop gaslighting people with this made up nonsense to deflect the blame. Always someone else's fault eh! #ToriesAreIrrelevant #borisbrokebritain #brexitHasFailed #Brexitboats #boriswave

The government gives inflation busting awards for public sector workers and those on benefits. It imposes higher taxes on the private sector with lower pay rises. This is Labour’s divided Britain.

Trump didn’t ask #Starmer to join a war. He asked for permission to refuel and re-arm US aircraft at RAF bases. Starmer said “NO” Then Starmer said “YES” after just 2 days with a feeble excuse for his U-turn.

Stay at home and get higher benefits. Drive to work and get clobbered with rip off taxes on your petrol. Why is Labour always out to bash the private sector?

People on £30k or £40k, who are not on welfare, are struggling too. Labour’s plan means they’ll be taxed AGAIN to pay for an energy bailout for people on benefits. Our plan doesn’t cost taxpayers a penny and helps everyone by cutting levies worth £200 for the average household.

Rather than chairing yet another COBRA meeting tomorrow, the Prime Minister should cut energy bills, get Britain drilling, and axe the tax rises. Here’s my letter to Keir Starmer👇

Starmer's gone beyond spin. He's now into fabrication. Make no mistake about it... Andrew Neil’s verdict is brutal. Not just the usual political fibs. Not even the normal careless bluster. Starmer is knowingly writing a fake record. He blames Brexit for boats. But what's the actual truth? Dublin made us worse off - Fact. Britain took more asylum seekers than we returned. So what's the conclusion? Starmer isn’t ignorant. He’s dishonest. And that corrodes trust in everything he says. If He Lies About Boats, What Else?

Keir Starmer claims Nigel Farage is to blame for the boat people because Brexit took us out of the Dublin Convention (in 2020), which allowed us to return asylum seekers to the EU countries from whence they came. The PM is either ignorant of the facts — or knowingly lying. Neither is a good look. The Dublin Convention was a two-way street for asylum seekers. Yes, we could try to return them. But others could also be returned to us. As a result the Dublin Agreement actually made us a net recipient of asylum seekers. Take 2018. We made 5,500 requests for asylum seekers to be returned. Only 209 transfers were agreed. In the same year, under the same convention we accepted 1,215 asylum seekers. So we were net recipients by over 1,000. The Dublin Convention did nothing to make it easier to return asylum seekers. Nearly all politicians are cavalier with the truth when it suits them. But Starmer is taking this to a new level.
