Join us for a three-part webinar series centered on the role of human rights in moving from conflict to lasting peace. Expert panelists will discuss approaches to ending conflict, the challenges of accountability and reconciliation, and models for building lasting peace.

We are excited to announce the addition of Hope Metcalf to the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights this spring. Prof. Metcalf joins the Iowa Law faculty as a Clinical Associate Professor and will contribute to the Center’s teaching, scholarship, and public service.

Congratulations to Paras Bassuk, UI’s newest Rhodes Scholar! Paras has been an active student in the Human Rights Certificate. They will study for two years at the University of Oxford in England, pursuing degrees in anthropology and public policy.
