When I started the US WORKERS ALLIANCE, my goal was to teach non-union workers how to use their NLRA Section 7 rights. —@RandellHynes The false belief is that those rights were written for unions and that workers must unionize to begin negotiations. Untrue. The law was written for workers, and unions hijacked the process; then you were either for or against unions. Problem #1: I realized that the union battle line meant you were either for or against 10% of the workforce, which meant the other 90% of us, 170 million of us, were ignored. Which leads to the second problem. 🧵

The Republic is a Paper Tiger. American workers are done staying silent. Dear Congressperson, While we busted our asses keeping this country running, you sold us out to corporate donors and K Street lobbyists. You changed the rules while we played by them. The constitutional promise of a government of the people has become nothing but a paper tiger. For 50 years, you’ve answered to billionaires and foreign interests — not us. Corporations are treated as “persons,” money as “speech,” and working people as disposable costs. Labor’s share of income has crashed from nearly 67% to a record low of ~54%. Trillions that belonged in our paychecks were stolen and handed to the top. Our emergencies? Never yours. Kids are going hungry. Seniors broke after lifetimes of work. American workers are being replaced by cheap foreign labor and AI. Wages are stagnant while everything else skyrockets. Our labor laws? Another paper tiger that fails to protect any worker who dares to ask for a raise. You could have stood up and said: “Families come first. Wages are the lifeblood of this nation. Workers have rights — union or not.” But that day never came. You could have said: “Corporations are not people. Money is not speech.” But that day never came. Your silence screams complicity. We’re awake now. The sleeping giant is roaring. Political parties that serve corporations are dead to us. We will exploit every weakness in the system to replace all of you with representatives from our own ranks — people who actually do what the people want. This is not a threat. This is reality. The time for corporate-first politics is OVER. We are choosing new leaders. We are taking the Republic back. — U.S. Workers Alliance

American workers don’t need a union to ask for a raise together, but they do need a government that enforces the law— we do not have that

@ewarren All social services that American families could pay themselves if the government would just enforce existing labor laws to protect workers when we asked for a raise together.

A two-cent wealth tax on ultra-millionaires would: Deliver universal child care, Build millions of homes, Expand Medicare, Provide paid family leave, Fund tuition-free public college, and so, so much more.

@MW4Liberty Or said corporations are people, money is speech, and called America a democracy instead of a republic.

Most Americans wouldn’t recognize a coup even if a foreign government bought the Congress and the major media, ran an intelligence agency driven blackmail scheme compromising top officials, pushed us into a war that isn’t ours, and had politicians lining up to pledge loyalty abroad; flying over for photo ops to kiss walls while neglecting their own people. Good thing nothing like that is happening.

@Cernovich Then Bernie says something hollow, like billionaires should be taxed at a higher rate. How is that helping anyone?

I never used to bitch about paying taxes. Some people are dealt a bad hand. I was glad to fund schools, roads, public services. Now? I wake up every day enraged over having to pay taxes. It's all going to ethnic / mafia fraud from daycares to home healthcares.

@Heritage The hypocrisy of Trump calling out Biden for not enforcing border laws, while Trump ignores harboring laws, is maddening.

There is no backup coming. If patriots don’t step up, who will? The future of this nation depends on those willing to act. Get involved, together we will win.

At HHS, we reject the idea that our health system is too broken to fix. Today, @DrOzCMS and I are announcing a new Healthcare Advisory Committee—top experts from across the country coming together to provide insight on how to cut costs, reduce red tape, and put patients first. Real reform starts now.

Every American problem - from bad infrastructure, to open borders, to foreign lobbies manipulating American power, to the massive debt - could be solved inside 5 years with forceful, effective government. But not this form of government.

Let that sink in: Just 535 fucking people in Washington act like they’re entitled to run the lives of 330 million Americans. The very people who pay their goddamn salaries, fund their bullshit perks and guarantee their bloated pensions. And here’s what should really make your blood boil: They’ve stopped acting like public servants and started behaving like they’re untouchable assholes. They treat us like cash cows and voting cattle while they jet around on our dime, insider trade their way to millions, and pass laws they exempt themselves from. I’m fucking sick of it. These arrogant pricks have forgotten who the hell they work for and it’s long past time we remind them with a goddamn reckoning. Fuck you @GOP and fuck you @TheDemocrats.
