When I started the US WORKERS ALLIANCE, my goal was to teach non-union workers how to use their NLRA Section 7 rights. —@RandellHynes
The false belief is that those rights were written for unions and that workers must unionize to begin negotiations.
Untrue. The law was written for workers, and unions hijacked the process; then you were either for or against unions.
Problem #1: I realized that the union battle line meant you were either for or against 10% of the workforce, which meant the other 90% of us, 170 million of us, were ignored.
Which leads to the second problem. 🧵
