Tim. Nobody is blaming the McCabe foul for losing.
But if this was Lauren James on Chloe Kelly the same Arsenal fans saying "not important" would be calling for James' head irrespective of the result.
This is far bigger a discussion...on how bad reffing is in "elite" competition.

Another takeaway for me from this tie, I understand why the McCabe Thompson incident annoyed Sonia and Chelsea fans , it also happened very late in the game. But it’s a total sidebar to the story of this tie imo (it also had no bearing on the outcome given how late it happened, the disallowed goal in the first leg is a bigger deal in that respect).
