A day after?? Baba got the news before the cup presentation ceremony sef,it was a very callous way to terminate a contract. I felt for him that day. Woodward was a novice then and he unfortunately got worse as the years pass, he was a cancer to this football club.

I think Amorim's biggest problem at United was not acknowledging the individual traits and strengths of these players. Everything was all about his system.
Look at Ancellotti and Zidane, the success they enjoyed in Europe at Madrid was because they allowed these players to play to their strengths in their systems.
But truth be told, with the results this season before his sack even tho we were on course for Europe does not justify the "we are not ready for Europe comments".
In the end, we belong in Europe specifically the Champions League with how big United is

Ruben Amorim told us Manchester United weren't ready for the Champions League, that they weren't prepared for Europe. This season they've beaten Arsenal, Chelsea, City & Liverpool, who finished 1st, 6th, 8th & 3rd in the Champions League standings. Newcastle & Spurs are significantly below United in the Premier League. The idea of not being in Europe is ok is a lie. If United had beaten Tottenham in the Europa League Final - in what was a €100m game - this squad overhaul would be even further along. CL nights back at Old Trafford are a non-negotiable. They're well positioned & now need to make it happen.

We controlled games passing backwards, some games we couldn't muster 3 shots on goal
The plus under LVG was he gave Carrington youths a chance and he believed in them

Sideways passing was horrible to watch but LVG wasn't tactically lost,his team was well drilled and coached tactically and we often dominated possession in most of our games.
