It’s been a full week spending time with my Dean’s team, the broader @utkdos leadership team, and all of our team members. These incredible educators are ready to meet the advocacy, support, and mattering and belonging needs for the Vol student experience!

From thanking the outgoing leaders to celebrating the incoming leaders…tonight was filled with gratitude for @UTKSGA. This is the best part of @UTKDOS work.

Excited for this next group of @UTKSGA leaders and their enthusiasm for the undergraduate student experience. Rocky Top will be in good hands with Dante, Kenzie, Olivia, and Jeloux! @UTKDOS @UTKStudentLife

As part of Fall Family Weekend, The Institute of American Civics presented a sample undergraduate class in Leading with Courage, taught by @utbakerschool faculty @DondePlowman and former Tennessee Governor @BillHaslam. Their guest for the special event was former U.S. Senator from Tennessee, Senator @SenBobCorker. The class aims to teach students how to lead with bravery and a bold visionary outlook — ultimately embodying a courageous approach to leadership.
