To me personally, it seems that Bayonetta appeals to a lot more women & queer people than cishet men. Maybe that's just my predominantly queer social circle, but I do think it's fair to say that her sexualization isn't comparable to, like, fanservice you see in gacha games

Whenever male characters are "sexualized" the priority is usually for it to serve as a power fantasy for men rather than just being sexy. I can see Bayonetta being the female equivalent of that to some people. When the game sexualizes her, it never feels like she's just eye candy

itโs apparently a hard pill to swallow but bayonetta was absolutely meant to be sexualized by its audience- itโs just the devs were slightly more tasteful/niche in their presentation than other games that use sex appeal and they fleshed her out as a character too

I do like a bit of toxicity and I rarely read pure fluff. However (and I can only speak from my experience with BL here) the genre is so oversaturated with stories of abuse & SA that all seem to follow the exact same formula, that fluff actually feels more unique & inspired to me

@ari__019 They very much like to exaggerate that part ๐ญ You don't straight up lose your ability to walk. Your legs may feel slightly weak & shaky, and maybe your sense of balance is affected a bit, but that's about it, unless you're hitting absolutely insane positions that hurt your legs.
