After the user authorizes the robot to connect to the internet, it will monitor the robot's health state. This feature will be improved with the new OTA program. We will also frequently remind customers on the app that after the robot is authorized to connect to the internet, some information will be exchanged.

Unitree's statement on the RCE, BLE, and telemetry claims. I've been digging into this the last few days though. The RCE stuff is patched. Hard-coded AES keys for BLE is still the case. The robot is still sending data outbound every 5 minutes without my authorization.

One thing Unitree needs to take care in these early stages of humanoid robot development is security. Keep it as your foremost priority, because once you get that image of security lapse in consumers mind. It ll be a downhill road, no matter how good your product is. Your team is doing many amazing things, don't spoil it with security & privacy issues.
