hudson is part of the reason the show was so successful, it wouldn't have been successful if he wasn't an exceptional actor who made us root for shane - meanwhile nepocois proved why he hasn't found success in two decades.

If I say that a lot of those involved with HR didn't expect Hudson to be such a big star b/c they didn't see it for Shane as a character & that's why they keep making these snide comments would I be wrong? They always expected C to blow up b/c Ilya is so dynamic but not H.
