made a fair few labels/warning labels over the years for texturing. hated doing it in photoshop so here's artofpilgrim.github.io/labels/ so you can make them super easily. Templates, save presets, export png/svg, 150+ pictograms. Layer-based canvas. Enjoy!

no more having to open photoshop to create alpha textures from photos artofpilgrim.github.io/levels/ same process i use in photoshop: Black and White adjustment + levels but now in the browser

@ThatNgonGuy Agreed. But those kinds of systems ware AI based for a long time (it's not a recent trend) and probably even now are not genAI based (just good old machine learning).

Ok we *seriously* need to stop using AI on critical systems. I just got a fraud alert on my Citibank account that flagged its own auto payment transaction as suspicious. Enshitification at its finest.

My #indiedev thought for today. Do you also have these thoughts while working on the game? I need to create more scenes, more, and more, so that the player spends as much time in the game as possible. 4 hours, or better 6. And this level design phase opens up an understanding that I'm doing this not only to increase the player's time in the game, but also to understand the tasks for creating or purchasing 3D models. During Level Design, new gameplay ideas emerge that are associated with new objects that were not previously thought of, so Level Design becomes a source for forming a more detailed list of 3D objects. This is logical, and probably understandable to everyone.

@TheMG3D Speaking of ND, it's different way of thinking than traditional modelling, but when you wrap your head around it you can do crazy things. E.g., those 2 are made of modifiers stack from only 2 verts (+lighting)

@TheMG3D @DANNYonPC @revancedapp Another alternative I've been using for over a year or two now is NewPipe (newpipe.net). I seriously don't know how it compares to Revanced as that was the first thing I found after cancelling premium, but it works for me very well.

I’m sorry I got YouTube Premium and I don’t think I can ever go back. Not being able to see AI slop ads every couple minutes is worth it in itself
