The cameras caught her sleeping. The critics called it rude. The truth was a secret she hadn't told a soul.
The year was 1981. It was November, just four months after the "Wedding of the Century."
Diana, the new Princess of Wales, was seated at the Victoria and Albert Museum for the "Splendours of the Gonzaga" exhibition. It was a black-tie gala. The atmosphere was stiff, the speeches were long, and the protocol was rigid: Sit up straight. Smile. Be perfect.
But Diana wasn't perfect. She was exhausted.
In a breach of royal etiquette that shocked the press, her head dipped. Her eyes closed. For a brief, unguarded moment, the Princess of Wales was fast asleep in her chair while Prince Charles sat attentively beside her.
The tabloids went wild.
Was she bored?

EL JABÓN LAGARTO
El jabón Lagarto no es un jabón. El jabón Lagarto es una autoridad. Es una presencia. Es el único producto de limpieza que no compras… lo heredas. Tú no vas al súper y dices: “Voy a probar el jabón Lagarto”. No. El jabón Lagarto aparece en tu vida como aparecen los traumas y las recetas de tu abuela: sin pedir permiso.
Porque vamos a hablar claro: el jabón Lagarto no limpia, humilla la suciedad. Tú manchas una camiseta con tomate y el Lagarto no la lava… la somete. Le dice a la mancha: “Aquí se acabó tu carrera, artista”. Ese jabón ha quitado más grasa que muchos entrenadores personales.
Y luego está el olor. Ese olor no es perfume, eso es disciplina. Eso huele a patio, a barreño, a una señora con bata que te mira y te deja temblando solo con decir: “Eso con Lagarto sale”. Y salía. Salía la mancha, salía la mugre, salía la tontería y, si te descuidabas, salías tú también restregado.
El jabón Lagarto sirve para todo. Para la ropa, para el suelo, para la cocina, para una llanta, para una persiana y, en algunas casas, sospecho que hasta para bautizar niños. Hay gente que tiene un botiquín en casa; nuestras madres tenían una pastilla de Lagarto y una fe ciega. “¿Te has caído?” Lagarto. “¿Hay grasa en la campana?” Lagarto. “¿Tu padre ha venido con una mancha rara en la camisa?” Lagarto… y luego interrogatorio.
A mí me hace gracia porque ahora todo viene con nombre de laboratorio suizo: “detergente ultra bio active sensitive no sé qué”. Cállate ya. Antes había una pastilla verde-marrón con nombre de reptil y eso limpiaba más que tu vida después de bloquear a tu ex. Nada de marketing, nada de influencers. El jabón Lagarto no necesita anuncio. Su publicidad era una abuela levantando una sábana blanca como si hubiera ganado una guerra.
Y ojo, que el Lagarto tiene pinta de producto sencillo, pero impone respeto. Tú lo ves ahí, cuadrado, serio, sin florcitas, sin colores pastel, sin “aroma a nube de verano”. No. El Lagarto viene a trabajar, no a seducirte. Es el funcionario de la limpieza: no sonríe, no promete, pero cumple. Y mejor que muchos.
De hecho, si el jabón Lagarto fuera una persona, sería ese tío seco del pueblo que no habla mucho, pero te arregla una lavadora, te poda un olivo y te da una lección de vida sin moverse del banco. Duro, eficaz y con pinta de haber sobrevivido a tres crisis, dos riadas y una boda gitana.
En resumen: el jabón Lagarto no es vintage, es inmortal. Es el Chuck Norris de la limpieza. Es el producto que ha pasado de generación en generación como si fuera una reliquia sagrada. Y mientras nosotros vamos por la vida pagando botes modernos con tapa ergonómica, el Lagarto sigue ahí, tranquilo, pensando: “Cuando queráis limpiar de verdad, ya sabéis dónde estoy”.

En algunas zonas rurales de España se han desarrollado tejas especiales llamadas “tejas mochueleras”, diseñadas para crear pequeños refugios donde el mochuelo europeo (Athene noctua) pueda anidar.
Estas piezas se colocan en los tejados de casas y granjas para compensar la pérdida de cavidades naturales causada por la modernización de los edificios rurales.
La iniciativa forma parte de proyectos de conservación que buscan proteger a esta pequeña rapaz y favorecer su reproducción en paisajes agrícolas, donde además cumple un papel importante al alimentarse de insectos y roedores que ayudan a controlar plagas de forma natural.

Nobody tells you this when you pick a career.
Every profession has a different finish line.
Athlete - peak is 24. Retired before 30. The sport moves on before the body does.
Model - peak is 22. Career lasts 3-5 years. The industry finds your replacement before you find yourself.
Soldier - prime at 26. The body starts losing the argument at 35. Twenty years in and the pension follows you out.
Airline Pilot - spends 20 years in a co-pilot seat. Reaches captain in their 40s. Mandatory retirement at 65.
Surgeon - peak performance is 35-50. It takes a decade of training just to get in the room. Hands and eyes start losing the margin for error after 65.
Lawyer - peaks at 50. The courtroom rewards experience. Every year you practice, the credential compounds.
Plumber / Electrician - peaks at 50. Recessions, AI, outsourcing, none of it can reach them.
Landlord - no peak. Tenants pay the mortgage while you sleep.
Investor - Buffett made 95% of his wealth after turning 65. Most people think it's too late by then.
Most people pick a career without knowing where it actually leads.

Opinión que nadie me ha pedido:
Siento demonizar esto, pero me supera (y me causa toc) el vocabulario manido y simplista de todas las "influencers", sin importar la temática.
No me estoy refiriendo a que deban ser unas eruditas de la palabra, pero ¿tanto cuesta definir cualquier cosa sin el adverbio "super"?
Y esta chica no es la peor. Pero, al igual que se esfuerzan por la originalidad del vídeo, podrían ponerle empeño a lo que comentan. Eso también les diferencia.
No importa el contenido que consumáis (moda, tendencias, viajes...), siempre es lo mismo y aburre.

@precisox Si tienes pareja estable, casaos. Lo de "No necesito un papel que ponga que estamos enamorados" no sirve cuando surgen problemas (fallecimiento, reparto de herencia, pensión de viudedad...). Lo que cuenta es el papel.

Las amistades en la vida adulta no se tratan de estar en contacto constante.
Se tratan de enviarse un reel a las 11 de la noche. De responder tres días después con un: "espera, es que quería contestarte bien".
De tener conversaciones a medias repartidas en tres apps distintas.
De mensajes aleatorios para ver cómo va todo en medio del caos.
Es tener la certeza de que nadie desapareció; simplemente ambos están ocupados sobreviviendo a sus propias vidas
