@ayesha_chari @lynneguist The British call it biscuits and the Americans prefer to call it cookies. Lynne Murphy said biscuits harden on kept in the refrigerator, while the cake remains soft. So they won't accept a cake as a biscuit.

What is an error? It's not something people say, it's spelling or grammatical error, it's not in this particular style guid, it's a split infinitive, it's passive, you should avoid this... We think of it as errors only after somebody gave it a name. @lynneguist
