There was a time when Indians questioned every government. If corruption happened, we spoke up. If inflation rose, we voted the governments out. Nobody was a Manmohan bhakt or a Congress bhakt because they were not busy in personal cult PR done for them. Back then, we never had Godi media, We as citizens called black as black and white as white. But today, that line is gone. There's a dangerous difference between being a Deshbhakt and being a Modi bhakt. Patriotism means questioning power. Blind worship means defending power no matter what happens. Every time someone asks about inflation, unemployment, the falling rupee, rising hate, or failed promises, the answer becomes - But Congress did this or Congress did that... That is not accountability. That is political cult worship. And the saddest part? It’s not just uneducated people falling for fake WhatsApp propaganda anymore. Even educated lawyers, doctors, teachers, and professionals are spreading narratives without questioning facts. India was not built in 2014. From Jawaharlal Nehru to Atal bihari Vajpayee to Dr Manmohan Singh, every government contributed to building institutions, roads, policies, telecom, infrastructure, and the economic foundation of this country. The British left India with almost nothing, India was built from scratch over decades. Technology growth is global progress, not one man’s miracle. 5G was not invented by Modi. India’s tech revolution began decades ago. Stop giving one leader credit for the entire evolution of the world. A democracy dies the moment citizens stop questioning and start worshipping these politicians like gods. India needs citizens again not political devotees.
