@ezash I didnt mind motion blur until final fantasy type-0 hd. The simple fact we couldn't disable it at launch completely burned me from playing it. That motion blur was so aggressive. That was the day I always opted to turn it off as default. I was 26 and knew this was shit

Among official videos from the dev studio what convinces you the most to want to play a new game?

Warcraft 3 and Starcraft Brood War. Those were the original Robloxs for many of us with its custom maps being infinitely replayable. That and Diablo 2, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Doom. Pc gaming back then was PEAK for social experiences and creativity.

PLATINUM 203 DRAGON QUEST 1/2 REMAKE I thought these games were…fine. Nothing amazing, the first one felt odd since you’re a solo act, but the sequel is better but imo out of the Erdrick trilogy, DQ3 is my fav over these two. My biggest problem with DQ2 especially is that god awful battle theme music man. All the other music is fine, but that battle theme is horrendous. And there’s a lot of dialogue that felt pointless. Exploration was good tho especially in 2. I’m just glad it’s done, took about 60 hours for both games combined. I’ll play DQ7 remake eventually, I already have it, but we’re so close to Crimson Desert so I wanna play something smaller/shorter instead. Anyway games are fine, just nothing amazing. There’s better DQ games imo 6/10

With the closure of Bluepoint Studio, now feels like the right time to share something. Sony sent me a cease and desist letter regarding my second Bloodborne remake project that I posted about in November 2024. I was incredibly excited about this project and worked on it a lot in my spare time. Then I received the letter you can see here. I told myself, “Okay… I expected this might happen. Maybe it’s because a real Bloodborne remake is actually in development, with Bluepoint leading it for the PS6 launch?” I didn’t say anything in March 2025 because I decided to repurpose all the assets I had created for that project into a new game set in my own universe, inspired by Bloodborne. My plan was to reveal the letter once the game was ready to communicate. Unfortunately, plans have changed. I’d rather speak about it now, as my disappointment is immense. The disappearance of Bluepoint is a tremendous loss for the industry and for the dream of a Bloodborne remake. Why are you making such absurd decisions, Sony? Shutting down such a talented studio while you’re not even making a Bloodborne remake and on top of that, sending cease and desist letters to small fan projects? Are you serious?
