In a new interview with Game Rant, Yoshi-P says the team’s goal is to enhance the appeal of FFXIV as an MMORPG. He says they are working on large-scale content for 7.1 and huge areas in 7.2 where players can come and play together. He also says there will be “unique systems incorporated so they can uniquely pursue character development and growth. In any case, I would say that we are working on a variety of different content working towards this goal, so I hope players can look forward to it.” The devs mentioned that there will be something similar to another Bozja/Eureka area in the 7.X patches, so Yoshi-P is likely referring to that!
