Today, the FS361 students learned about aquaponic farming systems and toured the BiG greenhouse unit! As part of their final project, they will formulate a food safety plan for aquaponic products. We look forward to hearing what they come up with this semester! 🐟🥬⚠️

In June, Juan Antonio Velasquez (PhD Student) and Dr. Jen-Yi Huang traveled to Tempe, Arizona to attend the International Conference on Algal Biomass, Biofuels and Bioproducts. Juan presented his research on Optimizing Chlorella vulgaris cultivation 🦠🧪🥽🥼
