Strengthening #Rice production boosts #FoodSecurity & grows the economy! By increasing productivity, farmers can sell surplus & earn income 🌾🍚📈 With support from @AfDB_Group, FAO, in collaboration with @mafs_ss, has trained farmers in Aweil & distributed seeds to the farmers.

At #ARC34 in Nouakchott 🇲🇷, @FAODG Qu Dongyu met H.E. Onyoti Adigo Nyikwec, Minister of Livestock & Fisheries 🇸🇸 A commemorative coin for the International #YearoftheWomanFarmer 2026 👩🏾‍🌾 was presented, highlighting the vital role of South Sudanese women in agriculture.
