We wrapped up the season tonight with our banquet. We honored each and every athlete for their dedication, gave special recognition to our state qualifiers and new school record holders, and gave out special awards to the following athletes:

Emily Tiepelman finishes her WHHS track career with a 4th place finish in the 400m at the state championship‼️She’s one of the fastest and most versatile runners in the school’s history. She’ll leave a palpable void in the program as she moves on to the next phase of her life 👏🏼

The girls were challenged to place better than they did in the 4x2 last year. They ran very well and did just that, taking 5th!

It wasn’t the result she had hoped for, but it is another step forward on the road to success. So so proud of you, @carolinej_coop.

.@carolinej_coop’s best jump of the day was the second best of her career: 32-9.25. It was good enough to land her in 6th place.

Caroline will jump at 9am and then the running events will begin at 4pm. 4x200 should be around 5:15 and Emily should run at roughly 6:00 (don’t quote me on those times).
