Yeah, life can be rough. Don't apologise. But maybe try this? It certainly helps me. This wondrous book constantly performs miracles on those who open themselves to it.
{إِنَّ وَلِـِّۧيَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ١٩٦} [الأَعۡرَاف الآية 196]. {وَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ جَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسۡتُورًا ٤٥ وَجَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرًاۚ وَإِذَا ذَكَرۡتَ رَبَّكَ فِي ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَلَّوۡاْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَٰرِهِمۡ نُفُورًا ٤٦} [الإِسۡرَاء من الآية 45 إلى الآية 46]. {فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِيَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ١٢٩} [التَّوۡبَة الآية 129] (سَبْعًا).
i've had a very emotionally disorienting few months of my life and i feel like amidst the chaos that i have so shamelessly subjected my moots to i have lost my passion for all things islamic studies and my desire to dismantle tradition - heartbreak ruined me and i'm sorry

Al-Tha‘ālibī (d. 1038) quotes this:

Yeah! Anyway, I was praying Maghrib, so of course Satan decided to remind me of the verses I couldn't quite remember (a genuine life hack if you're forgetful, lol):

everything you see, hear, touch, smell, or taste is simply a prompt for your brain.
i.e. compressed, lossy, & probabilistic inputs. your nervous system is basically a biological inference engine running a prediction model in real time.
this is why reality is often interpreted radically differently even though two individuals receive roughly the same input/prompt. this is also perhaps why switching models is not that cheap as people make it out to be.
