Safety and efficacy of immune checkpoint therapy for the treatment of patients with cardiac metastasis: a multicenter international retrospective study out on JITC buff.ly/iFnRFbO This retrospective, multicenter study examined the safety and clinical outcomes of 110 patients with solid tumors and cardiac metastasis treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). The most common cancers were #melanoma (38%) and non-small cell lung cancer #NSCLC (24%), with cardiac metastases frequently located in the atria and ventricles. Cardiac events occurred in 36% of patients, but ICI-related major cardiac adverse events were rare (1.8%). Treatment-related adverse events (trAEs) were common, with 20% experiencing severe (grade ≥3) trAEs. Patients with multiple cardiac metastases had lower response rates to ICI-based therapies. CONGRESS #ASH24 | PRESENTATION @WNMacaron, @MDAndersonNews and @bcmhouston discussed achievement of MRD negativity and positive long-term outcomes in B-ALL. In pts with PH- B-ALL , 2-yr RFS was higher in pts who were MRD neg after cycle 1, vs those who were pos after cycle 1. Poorer outcomes occurred in pts with HR B-ALL and slow MRD response.
